Today I was finally baptised into the Anglican church at St.Mary’s in Walthamstow. You can read all about it here on my faith blog.

After the service, Sam and Francis came back with us to the house where we all had coffee, and David and I got changed into more comfortable clothing. We had lunch and then all headed off to the Pembury to celebrate. There was quaffing of a most excellent beer with the very apt name of “Absolution”, and very pleasant company which included Ccooke, psych0naut (with, of course, the wonderfully affectionate Frettchen Ferret who was in full-on nose-licking mode!) and abigailb. A fluffymark was also spotted shortly before we decided to head off for home, as Freda had had a rather overwhelming and long day - as, indeed, had we all!
